World's first fully functional greenhouse that powers your home.

The first domestic greenhouse that will provide electricity to the home while also serving as a fully functioning greenhouse was erected in a Cambridge garden this week by UK company, Polysolar. 12 panels, using transparent Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) technology, form the greenhouse roof and not only provide the plants inside with a consistent environment for optimum growth but will feed the household's electricity supply and cut bills by around 30%.
